Doctors recommended only water on stitches

I’ve only just started using on my stitches/scar (four weeks post birth) as the doctors actually only recommended water and patting dry. Wish I’d known this before buying. That being said it is soothing for itching as the scar is healing. Overall I don’t think this is a must-have (and your docs/midwives might be like mine and not recommend products be used!)
