There is no need to worry about safety when putting the two pieces together, just check the indicators on each side of the newborn set when connecting it to the rocker frame. Once everything is securely attached, those indicators will turn green. If by any chance an indicator stays red, just remove the newborn set and give it another go.

The frame with the newborn set can be used from birth up to six months of age or hold up to 9 kg whichever comes first.
